KOOKA TIPS

DEFROSTING COLD-SET AND FRESH CREAM PRODUCTS

Defrosting times vary for each product depending on the density and format of the product.
Dense products require more time to defrost than lighter products.
( Refer to instructions on the label.)

We don't recommend defrosting fresh cream or cold-set products in a microwave oven as hot-spots may occur that will melt, burn or spoil the product.

Individual portion products and cut portions defrost more quickly as they have a greater surface exposed to the air.

Refer to the storage and handling information on the label for product specific information.
