HEATING WINTER PRODUCTS
PORTION PRESENTATIONFor neat portions and optimum presentation, we suggest that portions be cut from whole products whilst frozen or, cold and firm if defrosted. Neat cuts will be more difficult to achieve from a product when it is hot.

Because oven temperature settings and heating times can vary across different appliances, it is recommended that products being heated direct from frozen be probed and tested for uniform heating before serving for the first time. Note: Pastry based products such as pies and strudel will be crisper if heated or finished in an oven.
EXTENDED HEATING
Products heated or kept warm for periods longer than those indicated above should be steamed to prevent the product drying out.
Do not re-heat products that already have been heated once, or hold products at warm temperatures for long periods
* Any reference to microwave ovens refers to 1000 Watt power rating.
